How to Prevent the Defacement
To be on safer we should have some cards in our pocket i.e., you should always take some precautions. These precaution will protect you from large number of the defacement measures, remember precautions are necessary so always take precautions.
Precautions :
- Always update your blog/content management softwares to the latest version.
- Update your plug-ins/ 3rd party scripts / code you may have for your website or webpage.
- Always make sure that your file permissions are set correctly & never allow unauthorized access.
- Routinely change passwords including FTP/ blog/content management software.
- Keep trying to update firewalls and anti-virus software on your PCs.
